The Geomantic Command Center, or "Command Center" for short, was a collection of several projects created in one of the earliest known [[Flagnostic trance]]<nowiki/>s, which lasted for a period of several months. The transmission from The Crystal initially was picked up by the [[First Vexillomancer]]'s enormous [[Vexillomantic Regalia|Moebius hat]], leading to the creation of the [[Survey Flags]] [[video game]]. In this real time strategy game, you play the role of a disembodied collective intelligence, placing and moving the Flags at a burn around to form strategic shapes. Drawn between each flag is a [[Ley line|virtual ley line]] denoting one edge of a higher-dimensional [[Ley line|virtual ley facet]] that is invisible to the player due to the restrictions of 2 dimensions. The goal of the game is to align the virtual ley lines along the actual ley lines (which are invisible on our plane) in order to capture invisible moving ''crystal focus points''. A ''proper configuration'', which tends to resemble an assemblage of overlapping and distorted pentagrams, will capture one or more crystal focus points and being manifesting a ''crystal''.

A ''crystal'' is also known as an "infinite-order [[implied Flag]]. You see, at the midpoint between every two Flags is an implied Flag. At the midpoint between every two implied Flag is a second-order implied Flag. And so forth. Thus we call the geometric structure formed by the set of all Flags and higher-order Flags the [[implied Flag fractal]].

The more your implied Flag fractal resonates with the complex of 5th-dimensional Ley facets that the burn is passing through, the larger and more numerous the crystals become, and so the burn has a higher ''crystal manifestation index'' (CMI). Thus, the goal of a burn is to get the crystal manifestation index as high as possible.
