Advancing out of control is an advanced ritual performed by Mega Harvard professors that purportedly allows them to temporarily act outside of the control of The Lord of the God-Kings, and perhaps even the Flags, by abusing a loophole in the advancedness uncertainty principle that allows a being to temporarily become more advanced than the most advanced possible being. Learning how to advance out of control is almost impossible, and nobody knows for sure if anyone has actually managed to do so. This is largely due to the fact that informing others that you know how to advance out of control thereafter makes it impossible for you to ever advance out of control again, so there are enormous incentives against showing off this power.
